You will learn why apparently small maintenance details — including wiring routing, bonding and grounding, connector configuration, clamps, supports, shielding, separation, and approved hardware — can form part of an aircraft's safety-critical configuration.The course also explains where Fuel Tank Safety requirements may be found, including the Aircraft Maintenance Manual, Component Maintenance Manual, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Limitations, and other approved maintenance procedures.You will explore practical examples of maintenance-related defects such as damaged wiring, missing clamps, corroded bonding points, and foreign object debris.
